The challenge
Schools use a lot of electricity. The lights are on from 8am to 4 or 5pm most days. In some cases, the lights will burn later into the night, where the school is used for rehearsals, sports or community events. Lighting costs will typically represent 40% of a school’s energy bill.
The solution
Abingdon School in Oxfordshire, partnered with eEnergy to reduce their energy costs while enhancing the learning environment and school facilities. In turn this improves concentration and energy levels.
eEnergy provided a turnkey solution to replace our sports hall, drama and squash court spaces, not only were they very cost competitive, but the installation team worked quickly and professionally, providing us with a seamless installation. We are very happy with the outcome and will look to use eEnergy again on other upcoming projects.
