Mark is a seasoned business development and strategy leader with over 20 years of experience in both public and private sectors. As eEnergy’s Chief Partnership Officer, he works closely with Education Trusts and other public-sector organisations to address their biggest energy challenges—reducing costs, improving estate resilience, and accelerating the journey to Net Zero.

Drawing on his deep understanding of the pressures facing the eduction and healthcare sectors, Mark has become a trusted partner for senior education and NHS leaders. He has successfully led complex, multi-million-pound capital projects across the public estate, including the UK’s largest school build programme during his tenure at Milton Keynes Council. He has also advised organisations such as the Department for Education and RIBA, developing innovative decarbonisation strategies like ‘School Zero’ that deliver long-term energy and carbon savings.

On a personal note, Mark is a devoted husband and father to three grown children—Eliza, Maxwell, and Joe. He enjoys playing golf, supports MK Dons as a season ticket holder, and loves to travel, balancing city breaks with beach holidays. His mantra is, “Work hard and be nice to people,” a philosophy he applies in both his professional and personal life.
