Lawrence is our Technical Solutions Director, bringing over 23 years of experience in building services and lighting design. With expertise in AutoCAD, BIM, and LEED, he drives energy-efficient solutions that transform buildings and cut carbon. A graduate of London South Bank University, Lawrence is passionate about using technology and design to combat climate change.
He has been instrumental in the development of the eEnergy LED Lighting App—a game-changing tool that enables surveyors to assess complex environments at pace with unparalleled accuracy. The App provides live status updates for the team and, at the press of a button, generates an investment-grade proposal on completion. Having spent 23 years surveying the traditional way—a method still widely used across the industry and prone to error—Lawrence is fiercely passionate about what the App brings to the industry.
Before joining eEnergy, he held senior technical roles at Cree, Weblight, and AECOM, where he led projects focused on sustainable lighting. His favourite project to date is the Frederick Hiam installation for eEnergy, which exemplifies his commitment to delivering advanced and environmentally conscious solutions.
Outside of work, Lawrence is a devoted family man with two children, aged 13 and 10. A Dallas Cowboys fan, he enjoys tennis and squash. His personal philosophy is: “When we find a problem, let’s work hard to find a solution,” reflecting his belief in teamwork and innovation.
