eEnergy launches new NHS-ready funding solution; secures first multi-site award with Symphony Healthcare Services

eEnergy has launched a new NHS-ready Energy Performance Contract (EPC) funding solution to help public sector organisations deliver energy efficiency upgrades with zero upfront cost. We have secured our first EPC-funded award with Symphony Healthcare Services (a subsidiary of Somerset NHS Foundation Trust) to deliver LED lighting upgrades across 18 GP surgeries in Somerset, with a total contract value of c.£0.7m.

What is the EPC funding solution?

Our EPC model (backed by Redaptive) enables eEnergy to fund, install, and operate energy-saving infrastructure across multi-site estates. Customers pay through energy savings / usage rather than making an upfront capital purchase. eEnergy retains operational responsibility for the installed equipment, supporting a service-style approach.

Why this matters for the NHS.

This EPC structure has been designed specifically to help NHS organisations overcome barriers that can slow delivery, including IFRS 16 on-balance-sheet considerations. The goal is simple: unlock faster roll-out of proven technologies without consuming scarce capital budgets or creating unwanted balance-sheet complexity.

What this contract includes — and what it unlocks next.
