MK Dons’ official Net Zero Partner eEnergy, have expanded their relationship with the club to become MK Dons’ first ever back-of-shirt sponsor.

The eEnergy logo will adorn the back of the MK Dons Men’s and Women’s shirt for at least the next three seasons, appearing above the name of each Men’s and Women’s player up until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

eEnergy Group Plc, UK’s leading Net Zero-as-a-Service company, recently acquired Utility Team, and will be continuing their work in helping Stadium MK work towards Net Zero status through a number of energy management and efficiency projects.

MK Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman said:

“We have formed a close working partnership with Delvin and the eEnergy team over the past two years, and I am delighted that this will continue for the long-term.”

“The knowledge and expertise provided by Utility Team, and now eEnergy, has been invaluable in a challenging energy environment, and we are very grateful to them for their ongoing and increased support.”

Winkelman added:

“From a commercial perspective, it is clear we are building a reputation for attracting big brands and high-level partnerships, and having a back-of-shirt sponsor for the first time, really demonstrates this. We have always been very selective on who we choose to work with, especially when it comes to putting logos on our shirt, but eEnergy are a true partner and a company we are proud to have adorning our playing kit for the next three season.”

Andy Wooldridge, Commercial Manager at MK Dons, added:

“Despite having a significant time on their existing partnership, the relationship with the Club has been so positive that eEnergy were keen to grow their exposure and continue to develop strong bonds with fellow partners. I must also say thank you to Suzuki, who have always had the exclusive rights to the sponsorship of our kit. However, they have seen the opportunity for the Club to grow its commercial partners and have waived their right to exclusivity in their new agreement to allow for this move.”

The back of shirt partnership significantly increases eEnergy’s annual investment, not only supporting the Men’s team in their quest to build on the success of last season, but also providing vital financial support to the Women’s team as well.

Delvin Lane, Managing Director – Energy Management at eEnergy, commented:

“We are proud of the work we have done in the two years we’ve been working with MK Dons and Stadium MK. Not only have we saved the business huge sums of money off their annual energy spend, but also provided a clear strategy on reducing their energy waste and carbon footprint. We have loved working with the Club and getting to know the other businesses who are involved, through matchdays and events, as well as our successful Future of Energy Seminars. Our staff love going to MK Dons games and we are proud to bring our most important clients along too. We are proud to be supporting both the Men’s and Women’s team, especially with the buzz around women’s football created by the Euros. We are excited to see what Liam Manning and Charlie Bill can achieve with their teams this season and beyond.”

eEnergy Sales Director – Corporate Kieran Dixon added:

“The partnership with MK Dons has been hugely successful for us – not only have we greatly increased our presence in Milton Keynes and beyond, but we have taken on several new clients who have been impressed by our work at Stadium MK. The hospitality at Stadium MK is second to none, I am pleased we will continue to bring clients and staff along.”
