Dr. Fangbo Liu

Dr. Fangbo brings more than five years of experience in the solar industry, with expertise spanning PV system design, installation and project delivery. As a Design Engineer at eEnergy, he is responsible for designing PV systems throughout the full project lifecycle, from preliminary designs and detailed project drawings through to as-built documentation.

His role also includes managing DNO applications and communications across both low and high-voltage connections, as well as Building Control applications. Working closely with our Project Managers, Fangbo provides technical advice and guidance throughout installation, helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Fangbo holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Newcastle University, alongside an 18th Edition electrical wiring qualification, CDM Awareness and Working at Height certifications. He has particular expertise in electrical system design, mounting system design and battery sizing, and is highly proficient in CAD and leading PV design software.

With a strong technical background and a practical understanding of how projects move from design through to installation and handover, Fangbo plays a key role in delivering robust and effective solar solutions for our customers.
