Ben Ah-Thew

Ben leads our public sector growth and framework engagement, helping organisations identify opportunities to reduce energy costs and make progress towards decarbonisation. As Commercial Director – Public Sector & Frameworks, he works closely with customers and partners to develop practical, commercially viable solutions across the public sector.

With more than 11 years of experience in public-sector energy, Ben brings extensive knowledge of energy procurement, decarbonisation and framework utilisation. Before joining eEnergy, he worked at public buying organisation LASER Energy, building experience across account management, business development and commercial leadership.

Ben specialises in supporting local government, emergency services and other public sector organisations to navigate procurement and make effective use of frameworks. His focus is on making decarbonisation commercially achievable, helping organisations unlock savings through funded LED and solar projects without the need for significant upfront investment.

Relationship-led and partnership-focused, Ben enjoys finding practical solutions to complex challenges and believes in keeping things straightforward. His approach is centred on understanding the needs of each organisation and finding the right solution without overcomplicating the process.
