Akash Harnal

Akash is a commercially minded ACA-qualified accountant with a sharp focus on driving value through data, insight, and strategic financial management. He joined eEnergy in July 2024 as Group Commercial Finance Manager, bringing a strong track record in financial planning, infrastructure investment, and advisory.

A strong communicator, Akash thrives on collaboration—not just across teams at eEnergy, but with customers and delivery partners too. His ability to distil complex financials into clear commercial actions makes him a valued partner across the business.

Prior to joining eEnergy, he held finance leadership roles at Kvika Securities and Vantage Infrastructure, and qualified at Saffery Champness, where he built a solid grounding in audit and financial reporting under both IFRS and UK GAAP.

Akash holds a First Class degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham. Away from spreadsheets, he’s an avid Arsenal fan, paddle tennis player, and traveller—with a curious mind and a constant appetite for learning new things.
