Akash Harnal

Akash heads up the finance team at eEnergy, bringing a sharp commercial focus to financial management, reporting and decision-making across the business.

An ACA-qualified accountant, Akash joined eEnergy in July 2024 as Group Commercial Finance Manager, bringing strong experience in financial planning, infrastructure investment and advisory. In his current role, he supports the business by turning financial data and insight into clear commercial actions that help drive value, improve performance and support smarter decision-making.

A strong communicator, Akash thrives on collaboration — working closely with teams across eEnergy, as well as with customers, funders and delivery partners. His ability to distil complex financial information into practical, commercially focused guidance makes him a valued partner across the organisation.

Prior to joining eEnergy, Akash held finance roles at Kvika Securities and Vantage Infrastructure, and qualified at Saffery Champness, where he built a strong grounding in audit and financial reporting under both IFRS and UK GAAP.

Akash holds a First Class degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham. Away from spreadsheets, he is an avid Arsenal fan, padel player and traveller, with a curious mind and a constant appetite for learning.

His approach combines precision with pace — getting under the skin of the numbers to help unlock faster, smarter commercial decisions.
