eEnergy is delighted to announce a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Blackpool Football Club for the naming rights to their training ground, Squires Gate, and their first-team training wear.

The partnership is an extension of the one that Utility Team started in 2020 and will include the Club’s current training base being renamed the eEnergy Training Centre, with prominent branding featuring across the site.

As one of the UK’s leading net zero energy services consultants, we will be aiding the Club on its journey towards net zero status through a number of energy efficient projects. eEnergy already deliver energy management services for the Club and have recently agreed to install new energy efficiency solutions, including a LED lighting project, at Bloomfield Road.

Jonty Castle, Blackpool FC’s Chief Revenue Officer, said:

“We are delighted to have reached an agreement with eEnergy for the training ground naming rights and training wear. This builds on two successful seasons working together under the guise of Utility Team.

“The Board are keen to reduce the Club’s energy consumption and make us more energy efficient. eEnergy is the perfect partner to help us achieve this.”

Toby Costar, Marketing Director at eEnergy, added:

“We are thrilled to become Blackpool FC’s official training ground and training wear sponsor for the seasons ahead. We look forward to further developing the relationships previously struck up via Utility Team and helping the Club take its next steps towards net zero.
