The DPS simplifies procurement for both Approved Energy Suppliers and Contracting Authorities. Suppliers need to prove their suitability and capability only once during the approval process to join the DPS. From then on, they can compete for public sector contracts through mini-competitions on our eAuction online marketplace.
The DPS offers enhanced flexibility, allowing new Energy Suppliers to join at any point during its validity, unlike traditional frameworks that lock out suppliers for the entire duration. Gwynedd Council operates the framework, with eEnergy serving as the exclusive procurement agent. eEnergy also manages the Framework Agreement, all call-off contracts, and brokering services.
